Poultices & PowdersHerban Pharmer Poultices and Powders are powerful tools in any practitioner’s office for treating severe traumatic injury. They can be combined with wine, water, vinegar, egg white, or one of the Herban Pharmer Liniments to create a therapeutic topical plaster. Poultices have strong therapeutic properties and are recommended to be used with the advice of qualified health practitioners. Acute Trauma PoulticeOur Acute Trauma Poultice is a balanced product that treats sprains, strains, bruises, and contusions, while also reducing swelling and pain. |

Bone Mending PoulticeOur Bone Mending Poultice aids in the healing of bones and ligaments while alleviating pain. It is often used beginning 7-10 days after the injury and after a course of the Acute Trauma Poultice. |

Tendinopathy PoulticeThe Tendinopathy Poultice is formulated to address most any type of nagging tendonitis, from tennis elbow to plantar fascitis. For acute flare-ups presenting with significant redness and heat signs, this very warm poultice can be cooled by adding Clear Heat Powder, creating an invigorating and dispersing effect. However, it is important to note that most tendonitis actually responds well to the warm poultice as formulated. |

Ganglion Cyst PoulticeOur Ganglion Cyst Poultice effectively reduces ganglion cysts while strongly alleviating pain. It is especially useful when used after cyst drainage, to prevent their return. |

PowdersThe following powders are used to customize the above poultices to more closely match the injury presentation, if needed. Typically, one part powder is mixed with two to four parts poultice. |
Clear Heat PowderOur Clear Heat Powder is cold in nature and strongly clears heat. It is best used in combination with one of our other poultices. |

Reduce Swelling PowderOur Reduce Swelling Powder is cold in nature and is used to treat severe inflammation and/or edema. It is best used in combination with the appropriate poultice above. |
